Standard Fluorescent Liposomes

ABL standard fluorescent liposomes contain either Calcein or fluorescein and are approx 200nm in in diameter. Further information including full dequenching assay and precise fluorophore concentrations are with the material in the form of product sheet.. These fluorophores are encapsulated at self-quenching concentrations so that fluorescent signal is extinguished. Upon trigger dequenching occurs to produce a large fluorescent signal amplification. This signal amplification feature makes them useful for standard fluorescent labelling applications, assays to determine membrane disrupting properties of compounds or diagnostic application when used with cytolytic peptides.
